a prayer I pray with tears so plenty

that they reach the root of a tree called life that grows

higher than a soul can hope or a mind can hide

touching stars and skipping upon sunshine

A prayer I pray when awake

and during glassy darkness where dreams partake

It is always upon my lips in a heartfelt  tone

this prayer I pray, praying that is

heard by the one who sits upon the golden throne
