This is a story about Lily, the sweetest little girl who lives in the Kingdom of Sperenza and the challenges she must endure from the chronic symptoms caused by an unruly Syndrome that has inundated her brain. The syndromes most noticeable feature is a fiery red face and when this monster strikes its intended victim the mark it leaves is the same. , many beams of red light also penetrated through the velvet like vapor that covered the forest. Beams of lethal lasers shot from warrior knights carrying Solid State Ray Cannons (SSRC) that could obliterate steel and rock, only broke through the first three layers of 7  of the thick protective skins of a moon eater dragon.

A spiritual journey , where love not the sword is the weapon of choice, ... Are you ready ?

Valley of Loneliness

For I know the saddest place in the world
Where howling darkness and endless tears dwell
Never does a flower bloom or any kind of bird fly
Only blood filled clouds bleed from the sky
Fear and worry are the names of the black oozing rivers
that flow to shores covered with snakes that slither
This valley of loneliness is my broken heart
where my selfish pride has torn it apart
Shame and desire border it like sharp razor wire
cutting all love to pieces that dare to transpire
For I am the unloveable one, dissolved and childless
as I roam in this nocturnal Valley of Loneliness

The Other side of the Hill

Excerpt from Knight in the Forest of the Pons( Journey to the Syndrome)
 A sonnet

The Other side of the Hill

Once upon a forlorn sleep
I was lost in a dream
So wonderfully sweet
It seemed to be true

Twas a warm spring morn
As I laid in a clover filled meadow
Pondering above to an azure
Crimson and blue
Seated next to me on a rock
Reading the good book
Was a praying mantis
And draped over his shoulders
A purple frock
Suspended over my head
Like puppets on a string
Were ripples of bees ,
Lady bugs and a sparrow
With one wing

To my left there stood a hill
Enchanted with cherry blossom trees
And a rainbow of daffodil
Beyond a clearing snug in a nook
Flowed the waters of a murmuring crooked brook
On the shore sitting a top of a hollow log
Was a lone very bullish looking croaking frog
And over the brooks water dragon flies in a quad
whom Danced within the mist of a mysterious fog

Breathing deep and exhaling long
I was mesmerized in this medley
Of dreamy charm
What was I doing in such a peculiar place
In a peaceful state
Dare I say with a smile on my face

Usually my days are filled with remorse and sorrow
You know the pain I mean ,
Like your heart was shot with a poison arrow

Then , out of the blue
A childs voice echoed
Throughout the meadow
Daddy , daddy where are you ?
I listened intently , layed very still
As the childs voice seem to be coming
From the other side of the hill
Daddy , daddy where are you ?
All of a sudden standing under the sun
Amongst the daffodills and cherry blossoms trees
Was a lillte girl bending to her knees
Clothed in a snowy white dress
With pink ribbons in her long brown hair
She put her hands together
Reciting this heart breaking prayer

please jesus please

Help me find my daddy
He has been gone
For so long
And forgive me
If it is because of something I have done wrong
Wont you bring him back to me
And make things the way they use to be
I just want to hold his hand
Like we did as we walked alone the sand
Have him tuck me in tight , read to me
And make me feel safe on dark stormy nights

When I heard that prayer
From the sad little girl
With pink ribbons
In her long brown hair

I felt a rushing pulse
Throughout my veins
That landed in my heart
Just like that poison arrow pain
The little girl then
Placed her hands
Over her eyes
And began to cry
Weeping the words
Daddy why oh why
I continued to watch
From my spot
And still sitting next to me
Was the praying mantis
Seated on a rock
Putting down the good book
Turned to me with a majestic look
\ and from a thimble sipped wine
Then spoke and said
The little girl searching for her father
Is your daughter, son of mine

I could not believe what was takeing place
Dream or no dream I had no time to waste
Quickly I rose
While the mantis on tippy toes
Added ….God has given you a second chance
To be the man you are suppose to be
Go … go be with your daughter
Follow the narrow path
But beware of the black donkey

So in a hurry I made my way
Up that narrow path
Passed that black donkey
Who winked devilishly
I finaly made it to the daffodils
And cherry blossom trees
Sat next to my daughter
Who was still crying on her knees
Placed my hand upon her shoulder
Her head raised, she looked at me
And that beautiful smile of hers rushed
Immediately that poison arrow pain flushed
Daddy , daddy oh daddy its you
She leaped in my arms
Right out of those silly nodding daffodils
Boy , I held her tight
And kissed her cheeks
Both of our hearts skipping beats
I love you sweet heart I really do
I am so sorry I ever hurt and left you
With her big brown eyes , gleaming wide
And dimpled smile
She replied…daddy I love you too
Please never again leave my side
Because I missed you so.
And their we were embracing
In grass emerald green, surrounded by
Daffodils and cherry blossom trees
I lingered as long as I could
But felt it beginning to happen
And then woke up alone in seclusion
I will never give up , maybe the dream was a vision
A sign to take firm hold of Gods hand
And surrender to his will
Stay strong and endure
Because you never know what joy awaites you
On the Other Side of the Hill

As you bathed in the tree line brook
                                                                With sunbeams reaming
                                                                Through leaves that shook
I was there upon my black horse, hunting you
Never in all my days have I witnessed such a site
Birds stopped singing the wind stopped whispering
Even the sun turned black with fright

Warrior Knight and a Zygote Warrior....

                                                                     Zygote Warrior
Time - in the minute beginnings of life
                                                 So intricately delicate and precise
                                                 There, floating, hidden in secret
                                                 Within your light proof room
                                                 Thriving! Alive! Love consumed,
                                                 Blanketed under a nocturnal dreaming
A human composition the mighty one is weaving
Not unlike a pilgrim in a strange place
                                                You grow with grace
With a whisper and with a hush
You are made of spiritual dust
Tell me tiny seed, what is your planets sound?
Is your world as quiet as a flower pushing through the ground?
Following your charted course a ballet of sorts
With whirling pirouettes and elegant minuets
                                               This dance you do Jesus

                                                  A beautiful miracle,
Eyes have shown, feet and hands have bloomed
The heart flutters and the brain, ah yes, the brain, it perceives!
Can one believe? A child conceived
Welcome one of a kind creation
                                                   My anticipation

Plasticity....

Brain plasticity is a physical process. Gray matter can actually shrink or thicken, neural connections can be forged and refined or (conversely) weakened and severed. Changes in the physical brain manifest as changes in our abilities. For example, each time we learn a new dance step, it reflects a change in our physical brains: new “wires” (neural pathways) that give instructions to our bodies on how to perform the step. Each time we forget someone’s name, it also reflects brain change— “wires” that once connected to the memory have been degraded, or even severed. As these examples show, changes in the brain can result in improved skills (a new dance step) or a weakening of skills (a forgotten name).

                                                     1
                                    Attack of the Moon Eaters

Dusk crawled over the Forest of Sperenza bringing life to a new night, not just any night, but one full of evil and of horror and of blood and slaughter.  A storm was raging, painting the sky raven black with leprous grey  clouds and above them sporadic flashes of silver silently bursting. Off in the distance a frightening sound could be heard and as the sound drew closer its frightfulness turned into dreadfulness. A very distinct drone it was, one in which the hundreds of warrior knights on the fog covered forest floor knew exactly what was causing their hearts to beat in their throats. Moon Eaters! dozens of them! racing towards the Kingdome of Sperenza, their enormous wings  pounding the  air causing a reverberation resembling explosions as lighting erupted from there nostrils at the same time they crashed through the grey clouds  all the while groaning that sound , a deep haunting  bellow, as if  one million cellos were being bowed in a double octave note of e, over and over and over .  Moon Eaters live in nodes located in celestial spheres that when the moon is tilted on the plane of the ecliptic it has an inclination of about five degrees. As the Sun orbits on its own ecliptic and the moon in its own orbit is inclined on the ecliptic the two line up with one more body, Earth. An eclipse is formed unlocking the gates of the nodes thus releasing the Moon Eaters to feed and to live on to the next eclipse. The delicacy which has the Dragons in such a feeding frenzy? Pure, untainted blood from the young virgins that live in the Kingdome of Sperenza.  In order to infiltrate the Kingdome and feast on its virgins the moon eaters must first drink from Lake Chandra, a magical lake hidden deep within the Forest. The Warrior Knights knowing this, wait in silence, on horseback ,  behind monstrous trees and like crouching panthers about to attack they  surround the perimeter of the mist covered  lake in the offing to unleash their wrath upon the intruding monsters. The waters of Lake Chandra are believed to be the many tears cried by the queen of the moon eaters (Chandra) who was captured, tortured and destroyed by a legendary warrior knight known as Dima many, many years ago. His tale lives on through his only great grandson (Nassor) leader of the warrior knights of Sperenza and father to a special little girl named Lily. Nassor a brave Knight in his own rite who will do anything to protect his precious daughter gives the order to his army of fellow warriors to be on the ready by raising his battle sword as he is seated upon  his  ominous looking black stallion all along his armor shines in a moon beam with force.  Rahu the leader of the dragons comes racing down to earth in a chariot of darkness drawn by eight flying black horses while in the same manner his fearless comrads sore like fighter jets on the warpath behind him.
